Detroit Collective was founded by Anthony Stallion and Joshua Knighton in the year of 2021. The vision came to life after the heart and the goal was to simply gather a group of local creatives and worshippers in a room to do what they do best, create and worship God. After releasing their first project in August 2021, titled ‘Detroit Collective Volume I,’  it became clear that God wanted to do something special in Detroit and through Detroit.

Through our music, Detroit Collective strives to inspire and uplift our community. We believe that music has the power to bring people together and create a sense of unity and hope. By sharing the heart of Christ through our music, we hope to bring healing and restoration to individuals in our community and across the nation. 

At the heart of Detroit Collective is a deep faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the source of all hope and healing, and we are committed to sharing His love with others. In addition to music, we believe that outreach and evangelism play a crucial role in bringing the Family of God together in a world that often feels divided and disconnected. Some of our outreach initiatives include partnering with local churches for fundraisers that support the homeless and youth and development programs, as well as offering support, resources, and a sense of belonging to individuals in need. 

Using music as the catalyst, Detroit Collective strives to touch hearts, inspire souls, and bring people closer to God. We stand firmly on the pillars of artistry, family, and community, recognizing that these are values essential in our mission to what God has called us to do. Through our collective efforts we remain steadfast in our commitment to bring Glory to His name using our gifts for His purpose, knowing that through faith, love, and unity, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those we encounter.
